The 10 commandments of blogging

There are a few things you should remember when you blog.  Here is my take on the 10 commandments of blogging.

1. Don’t blog only for money

2. Ask questions to your readers

3. Treat your readers like your “family” (A community)

4. Keep your blog uncluttered and easy to navigate.

5. If you want to make money blogging, give VALUE first (help your readers)

6. If you want your blog to be popular, treat it like a real business.

7. Don’t be too formal. Write in a casual style that let’s your readers connect with you.

8. Be yourself (show your personality!

9. Update your blog regularly!! (This one is super important, no one likes to read a dead blog)

10. Give before you take. If you want other bloggers to blog about you, blog about them first!

I could probably go on and on with this list…there are soooo many things to keep in mind when you blog. But the important thing is to have fun and be yourself
