I’m not even sure if that’s a term, is it? “Hobbybloggers”. Hmm..well it is now
What I mean by Hobbyblogging is people who blog only for fun. I mainly blog for fun, but I also make an income from it.
But most people don’t make money by blogging, they only blog for fun, as a hobby. And I personally LOVE those types of bloggers. Why? Because they blog purely for the love of the game.
Blogging should be fun, it should be about expressing yourself and connecting with other bloggers. It should be about building a community of like minded people who feel the same as you do.
The “Real” Bloggers
I have tremendous respect for the REAL bloggers who “let it all out” when they blog..you know the ones I mean. Especially the “mommy bloggers”..I really get a kick out of reading those blogs.
How could you not? It’s pure, real and raw..it’s ranting and raving, it’s straight from the heart. THAT’S what a lot of bloggers forget to do..just be real. It’s all about expressing your thoughts and feelings…like a journal, only public.
What blogging’s all about
We shouldn’t overlook the super personal, random, ranting and raving bloggers because they’re a huge part of the blogging community! Without them, blogging would be dull and lifeless.
Even if I stopped making money from my blog, I’d still blog just for the love of it..because that’s why I got into blogging in the first place! Here’s to you, “Hobbybloggers”!

I started blogging for the love of the game. Unfortunately when I found out that I could actually get “things” or money from doing it, my focus changed. It’s very shallow, but money talks, doesn’t it. Fortunately I have not totally committed my blogs over to making money. And I do have 3 blogs, so I can fit whatever it is I’m writing about to one of them. I do love to read the blogs that are obviously there because they love to share and blog. Thanks for bringing this out! You rock!
I know what you mean Helena..I started blogging just as a hobby, but if you can make money at something, you might as well. No harm and that, as long as you don’t completely sell out and just start writing crappy content. 3 blogs is a lot to keep up with so that’s pretty cool. I’m glad you liked the post
